What Is Ketamine Therapy?

Ketamine has been safely used in medicine for decades. At carefully prescribed low doses,

it works differently than traditional antidepressant medications by supporting neuroplasticity—the brain’s ability to create new pathways, process emotions differently, and build healthier patterns of thought.

Many patients describe ketamine therapy as creating space between themselves and the emotional weight they’ve been carrying.

For some, this feels like:

  • Relief from persistent sadness or heaviness

  • Reduced anxiety or racing thoughts

  • Emotional release and processing

  • Improved mental clarity

  • Greater resilience to stress

  • Renewed energy and motivation

  • A feeling of being more present and connected

While every experience is unique, many patients report feeling a shift within hours to days

rather than waiting weeks for symptom improvement.

Our Ketamine Services

IV Ketamine Infusion Therapy

Our signature ketamine offering at RevIVe is IV infusion therapy.

Ketamine is delivered slowly through an IV while you rest comfortably in a peaceful private treatment room under medical supervision.

Each experience is designed to feel safe, supportive, and restorative.

IV Ketamine Infusions — $447 per treatment   Special First 3 Treatments $170 each

Initial Office Evaluation - $100 (waived or bundled with first treatment)

Most patients begin with a recommended series of 6 treatments, followed by maintenance sessions as needed.  Infusions are administered over 2–3 weeks, typically 2–3 treatments per week. After the initial series, maintenance treatments are individualized based on response and symptom recurrence.

Ketamine Troches (Oral Ketamine)

We also offer ketamine troches for appropriate patients.

What are Troches?

Troches are small medicated dissolvable lozenges placed inside the cheek or under the tongue, where the medication is absorbed gradually through the oral tissues.

They allow for a slower, gentler ketamine experience and may be used in select patients as part

of a personalized treatment plan, including maintenance therapy between infusions.

Your provider will determine whether troches are appropriate based on your goals, medical history, and response to treatment.

Oral Ketamine Troches (home use) - Approximately $3 per dose

Typical dosing is 1 dose (50 - 100mg) three times weekly for 4 weeks.

Maintenance dose (100 - 200mg) weekly

Refill appointments - $70

Initial Office Evaluation - $100

Intranasal Ketamine - Spravato

and treatment plan.

Spravato is not approved for the treatment of PTSD and is not covered by insurance for this condition.

Clinical monitoring fee - $335 per treatment, plus medication

Compounded Intranasal - $120

Spravato - $999 ($0 if covered by insurance)

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)

At RevIVe, we also offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) as an OPTION for patients wanting to combine ketamine with their counseling session with their OWN counselor or psychiatrist.

Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy combines ketamine treatment with guided therapeutic support to help patients process thoughts, emotions, trauma, and personal insight during or around the treatment experience.

For many patients, ketamine can create a unique state where emotional barriers soften, allowing deeper reflection, greater openness, and access to difficult emotions in a way that feels safer and more manageable.

This can be especially powerful for patients working through:

  • PTSD and trauma

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Grief

  • Emotional blocks

  • Life transitions

  • Patterns of self-criticism or burnout

KAP is designed to help transform insight into lasting healing—not just temporary relief.

IV Ketamine Infusion Therapy — $447 per session Special First 3 Treatments $170 each.
